Ross Taylor, during his beautiful innings of 25 not out off 12 balls, hit three sixes, taking his tally of sixes in the IPL 2009 to 12, which is the highest for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
· In Twenty20, he has recorded 66 sixes - a tally exceeded only by David Hussey (82), Brendon McCullum (72) and Sanath Jayasuriya (67).
· Virender Sehwag has posted his first duck in the IPL 2009, which is his third in the IPL. He could make just 109 (av 13.62) in 9 innings in the IPL 2009.
· Rahul Dravid and Jacques Kallis were associated in a 70-run stand, which is Bangalore`s highest for the second wicket against Delhi, eclipsing the 40 between Wasim Jaffer and Ross Taylor at Delhi last year.
· Praveen Kumar (3/30) has captured three wickets in an innings (including two in the very first over), which is best performance in the IPL 2009.
· Anil Kumble`s wickets tally of 15 at 18.53 runs apiece in 13 matches, is the best for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second edition of the IPL.
· Jacques Kallis is the first player from Royal Challengers Bangalore to make 300 runs in the second edition of the IPL, aggregating 332 runs at an average of 33.20, including three fifties in 12 matches.
· Kallis, thanks to his splendid all-round performance, has received his second Man of the Match award in the IPL.
· Royal Challengers Bangalore have recorded their first victory in four matches against Delhi Daredevils in the IPL. Delhi had won all their first three matches - by 10 runs at Delhi; by 5 wickets at Bangalore and by 6 wickets at Port Elizabeth.
· Bangalore`s triumph by seven wickets is their seventh in 13 matches in the second edition of the IPL.
